Do You Believe in The 2012 Doomsday Theory?

There are many different interpretations of the 2012 doomsday theory; some are a bit more radical than other versions. There are different opinions of the masses in regards to the belief of the doomsday theory. One section of our population believes that absolutely nothing will happen on that date and dismiss it as nothing but utter nonsense, while another group takes it very seriously and is preparing for the end of the world as we know it.

The idea that nothing will happen on December 21, 2012 might very well be true, but what about the predictions of the Bible, Aztecs, Mayans, and Nostradamus, can they all be wrong about the end of the world?

The exact date of the December 21, 2012 doomsday theory isn't shared by all, for example the Bibles interpretation of doomsday is called the end of days and does not give a specific date when the world as we know it will to come to an end. The bible tells of events leading to the apocalypse, such as political unrest, world disasters, etc. Some people believe that these events have already been set in motion.

Ancient cultures have predicted that the end of the world will occur in December 21, 2012. The Mayan calendar, for example ends on December 21, 2012 which has let to speculation as to what events will take place at that time. Some people believe that a spiritual change or new world order will take place, while another group feels that there will be a disaster of cataclysmic proportion. Whatever way you interpret the Mayan theory it does appear to be somewhat vague.

Another theory is based upon the predictions of Nostradamus. According to a group of people, there exist the lost books of Nostradamus which they claim he has written of three anti-Christs, Napoleon, Hitler and the third, which has not yet come to power, but will come from an Asian nation which will bring about the final war and the ultimate destruction of the world. Nostradamus is believed to have predicted President John F. Kennedy's assassination, the September 11th terrorist attacks and other disasters.

What it boils down to is which theory do you believe is true? Do you believe that the world as we know it will come to an end or maybe you don't believe in the doomsday theory at all and you feel nothing is going to happen on that day? Even if you feel that December 21, 2012 will just be a regular day you might want to prepare yourself for the possibility of mass hysteria that could occur from the people that do believe the end of the world will happen on that day.
